This coming Friday, April 1 (not an April Fools joke, I hope)... Deco Drive will be here at 5:00 pm to film for an upcoming segment. Please help us look like we are a cool happening place by joining us for happy hour! Come in and get food & drink & TV time as well!! Also, Sunday, April 10 will be our 3 year anniversary! We will be doing a crawfish boil & caribbean grill, as well as serving some cool beers, nice wines, fun soju cocktails, the return of sake jello shots... We will be open that day from 12 - 6. And then Thursday, April 28 is Broward House's annual Dining Out For Life benefit event. Come out to eat & feel like a real humanitarian - the more you spend, the more that is donated to Broward House for social services for those with HIV or AIDS. So, for those of you who do not stalk us on social media, I am putting it out there that we will indeed be open Sunday Feb 14 for dinner, from 5 -10. We will be serving a prix fixe menu as well as our regular menu. We will accept special reservations of any size on Saturday & Sunday for Valentine's Day. Please be aware that we will be taking credit card numbers to hold your reservation. As long as you call to cancel ahead of time, there will be no charge & we will destroy your information. If you fail to cancel and do not show up, we will charge $25!
Otherwise, feel free to make a reservation and have a pleasurable Valentine's dinner with us! So, anyhoo! here is our prix fixe menu So, some of you might have noticed that the mobile website is down. Please don't panic... we have 50 technicians working relentlessly on it day & night. Hopefully it will be resolved in the next week, month, or year... until then, you have our desktop version of the website, facebook, instagram, twitter, and for those of you who use it, yelp!
This week - South Florida Beer Week! So, to celebrate, we are not doing any official events, because we prefer to fly under the radar like that... and because we thrive on spontaneity. So, we are offering craft beers on draft for $4 from 4-7 daily for SFBW. We also will be serving beer (or cider) inspired dishes. Tonight we have pan fried mackerel with baby bok choy & Accomplice cider teriyaki sauce. We also have winter ale brownies with winter ale chocolate sauce! And if you would like, we could also do a "We decide for you beer pairing"!!! Cheers big ears! JAN 28 - Thursday, or tomorrow - Mike's birthday!!!! To celebrate, we will be open for service, serving all of Chef Mike's delicious dishes! So come on in and have an IPA with him, or a glass of wine if he's drinking wine, or whatever! Just come on by and say Happy Birthday!!! FEB 1 - Monday, we will be closed for personal maintenance. But we will reopen Tuesday... so don't panic Feb 13 & 14 - Saturday & Sunday. We will be offering our Valentine's prix fixe (more details later) and our regular menu. For this special occasion, we will be taking reservations. So, it's that time of year again, folks! It's the 3rd annual Funky Buddha beer pairing dinner at Hot & Soul! We are kind of cutting it close, but the dinner will be Tuesday, August 18. Dinner starts at 7, but you are invited to come in any time after 6 to have a pre dinner libation and hang.
Tickets will be $60, tip not included. This year, we will be selling tickets online on eventbrite, or you will also be able to purchase them at the restaurant as well if you are frightened of eventbrite. Please let us know when you purchase your tickets, if you plan on sitting with other guests purchasing separate tickets. We will be offering our version of happy hour, Tuesday thru Friday, 4 - 7, in the bar. Draft beers will be $4, wines by the glass $5, and sangria & white wine spritzers for $6. We will also offer bar snacks for $4 - $7.

So come on in from the sun and set a spell! ![]() So... we have been waiting for a while to get these beers from Nola Brewing, and they aren't ready for regular distribution, but thanks to Brown and Ryan Fischer... we got these babies in for the first time in SoFla for American Craft Beer Week! Starting Monday we will be running craft beer pairings. We will start with these 4 Nola brews, and then we will change up the pairing as the specials run out. Here's the pairings that we will start Monday! -shrimp remoulade with greens & heirloom tomatoes, paired with Nola rebirth pale ale -snapper almondine with brabant potatoes & creole meuniere sauce paired with Nola hopitoulas IPA -boudin stuffed quail gumbo with house made andouille sausage paired with Nola mecha imperial IPA -beignets with marscapone and caramel, paired with Nola irish channel stout So, plan to come in Monday or Tuesday if you want to try this lineup! ![]() This Thursday we will be participating for the 3rd year in Dining Out For Life. This is a national event that takes place every year. Each participating restaurant pledges to donate a percentage of sales for that night to a local organization. The Broward County chapter is donating the proceeds to Broward House. Broward House has been operating for 25 years to provide services, and in some cases housing for those coping with HIV/AIDS and their families. If the four course menu doesn't turn you on, then you can also order off the regular dinner menu! We will be taking reservations for any size party, and we will also be taking credit card numbers to reserve your table. But please, please don't give us a fake credit card number! If you need to cancel, please just call us and tell us that you are not coming! We are a small place, and we want to accommodate as many guests as we can!
