Hey ya'll!  Fall is in the air.  The leaves are changing, the cool wind is rustling, the fire wood is being chopped.  I mean, not here, but somewhere else.... Here it's still South Florida!

With that in mind, you might need a little help putting together your Thanksgiving dinner, or any holiday party. you probably don't want to get the kitchen all hot and humid cooking things like stock.  We are here to help.  We are offering a few items made in house that you can take home - just call ahead for availability:

grainy mustard
red pepper hot sauce
habanero hot sauce
mike's nice spice v6.0.1
jalapeno gravy
chicken stock
shrimp stock
3 bean salad

Also, if you would like to order any menu item or special items please inquire....

We are also now taking reservations for holiday parties.  We have open availability on Sundays, and any day during lunch, and we can work with you on weeknights or weekends.  If you would like to inquire, please email at [email protected] or call us at 754-206-2155.

And later down the line we will be putting together special menus for Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve!!!

This Thursday we will be participating for the 3rd year in Dining Out For Life. This is a national event that takes place every year.  Each participating restaurant pledges to donate a percentage of sales for that night to a local organization.  The Broward County chapter is donating the proceeds to Broward House. Broward House has been operating for 25 years to provide services, and in some cases housing for those coping with HIV/AIDS and their families.  Please join us on Thursday, April 30 between 5 - 11pm, by having dinner with us and supporting this worthy cause!

Here we have it!  Another year, another beer dinner.  Here's the link: Funky Buddha Beer Dinner

This is our second annual Funky Buddha Beer Dinner!  We are excited to offer another beer pairing dinner exactly a year after the first. This year's dinner will pair big bold Funky Buddha beers with tropical inspired dishes.  We are doing one seating at 7pm with 40 seats available total, so get your tickets here before they sell out! Tickets are $55 per person, gratuity not included.

Hot & Soul Funky Buddha Beer Pairing Dinner, August 21, 7pm

Floridian: Unfiltered and refreshing German-style wheat beer has compelling aromas of bananas, citrus, and cloves, while the all wheat and malt body perfectly captures the brilliance of an orange- and yellow-flecked Florida sunset. 5.6%

Green tropical fruit salad with Sai Oua (thai sausage), and sweet and spicy chile sauce

Passionfruit Crusher: Meet the Crusher: this poundable, single hop session IPA is brewed with 2-row barley and a touch of caramel malt for depth, accented with loads and loads of late-addition hops. The passionfruit version features copious quantities of real passionfruit for a taste that's distinctly fruity and tropical. 4.3%

Wahoo tiradito with lime, cucumber, cilantro, passionfruit infused olive oil, and pink salt

Fire in the Hole: A malty red ale that pops with pleasantly fruity undertones, chock full of whole raspberries and just enough habanero peppers to create a pleasant tingle in your throat. You've got sweet, fruity, caramel-y, spicy all in one package - it's like jam for your jelly, baby. 5.4%

Roast pork ti malice (onion, sweet & hot peppers, citrus & vinegar) with sweet potato-plantain puree

Small Axe, Big IPA: Cascade, citra, centennial, and nugget hops combine to form an aroma and flavor that's straight up tropical, with heady notes of pineapple, orange, mango, guava, and grapefruit.9.5%

Curry beef with dum aloo, sweet and sour cabbage

Snowed In: Snowed in is an imperial version of Last Snow porter. With flavors of coconut, coffee, and white chocolate, Snowed In tastes like liquid indulgency in a glass.

Waffle cone with banana custard, crushed peanuts, coconut, and "magic shell"

  Haiyan Help

As most of you know, the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan hit very close to home, as I am Filipino - American.  I had not been to the Philippines for about 33 years.  I went back with my sisters this September for a very short trip to bury my mom’s ashes.  Having just left the country, I have a closer connection to the country than I’ve had these 33 years.   It saddens us to see such tragedy and not be able to go there and help.

We truly appreciate everyone’s concern.  There has been so many people stopping by and asking about my family and how they can help.

So, we are doing what we can to help.  Next Tuesday, as we all start our Thanksgiving preparations, we will be hosting a Typhoon Haiyan benefit night. 20% of sales that night will go towards a donation to NAFCON  We will be serving our regular menu, and in addition, we will be doing some Philippine specials; sisig, siopao, tocino, & shrimp ukoy.

So please join us on Tuesday in supporting the relief efforts.  Thank you for your support!

Upcoming Events
